1. Data Collected by Advertising Partners

Dancing Robot v1.0.0 includes the following ad SDKs: Mediavine, Google Mobile Ads, and the consentmanager.net consent SDK. The Mediavine SDK also includes Optable — a Seller-Defined Audiences (SDA) component that produces audience targeting signals used in ad auctions. Optable runs as part of the Mediavine ad stack and is governed by the same consent choices as the rest of the ad SDKs; it does not introduce a new category of data collection.

When ads load, these SDKs may collect or receive:

• Advertising Identifier: your Google Advertising ID and App Set ID — per-device identifiers provided by Android. Used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, and shared with our advertising partners. On Android 13+ the Advertising ID is only readable when personalized-ads permission has not been withdrawn (see section 3).
• Advertising Data: ad impressions, click events, and the ad context (which screen, which ad slot). Shared with advertising partners.
• Product Interaction Events: in-app navigation events the ad stack correlates with ad opportunities, such as entering Classic Mode or Live Mode, or triggering a screen that loads an interstitial. Not linked to your identity. Used by our advertising and analytics partners, including for the audience signals Optable produces.
• Diagnostic Data: SDK-level error and performance signals, not linked to you. Used to keep ad serving healthy.
• Coarse Location: derived from your IP address by the ad SDKs, not from GPS. Not linked to your identity. Used for ad geo-targeting.

This list mirrors the app's Google Play Data safety declaration. If you discover a discrepancy between what the app does and what's listed here, please email us at the address below — we will treat that as a bug.

2. Where Your Data Goes

The advertising stack contacts the following domains for advertising purposes:

• Google ad infrastructure: googleads.g.doubleclick.net, securepubads.g.doubleclick.net, pagead2.googlesyndication.com, googlesyndication.com, googleadservices.com, doubleclick.net
• consentmanager.net: consentmanager.net, delivery.consentmanager.net
• Mediavine: mediavine.com
• Optable (part of the Mediavine SDK): optable.co, optable.app. Optable's runtime endpoint is on a per-tenant subdomain of optable.co (for example na.edge.optable.co).

If you decline consent where a prompt is shown, or opt out of Ads Personalization in Android settings, traffic to these domains is limited to non-personalized ad delivery. The app will still work and ads will still load.

3. Consent and Ad Personalization

Android does not have a separate per-app tracking prompt. Your control over personalized advertising comes from two places:

• The consent prompt (ConsentManager, a certified TCF v2.2 Consent Management Platform): where the law requires it (for example the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland), a consent dialog appears shortly after launch and before the first personalized ad request. Your choices determine whether a personalized advertising identifier is used. We show it after the app has loaded so you have context, rather than as an unfamiliar dialog on the very first frame.
• Android system settings: in Settings → Privacy → Ads you can Delete/Reset your advertising ID and opt out of Ads Personalization at any time. When you opt out, the Advertising ID is no longer available to our partners and ads are non-personalized.

If personalized ads are not permitted (by your choice or by region), the app behaves the same — you simply see non-personalized ads.

4. What Stays on Your Device

Dancing Robot does not maintain a user account or a profile of you. The only things stored locally are:

• A short-lived cache of the app's ad configuration (non-personal settings that control the ad stack), kept in the app's private SharedPreferences.
• Your consent choices, stored by the ConsentManager SDK.

These:

• ✅ Stay on your device (in Android's standard per-app storage)
• ✅ Contain no personal information and are never sent to our servers (we don't run any)
• ✅ Are deleted when you uninstall the app

Your current dance, playback speed, and Live Mode motion state live only in memory for the session and are discarded when the app closes.

5. Device Permissions

v1.0.0 uses the following device features:

• Motion Sensors: the accelerometer drives Live Mode's throw-and-settle physics (fling the robot and watch it tumble and settle)
• Audio Playback: for music (audio ships inside the app; no streaming)
• Network: the app declares INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE; the Google Mobile Ads SDK also contributes the com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID permission at build time so the advertising identifier can be read for the purposes described above

v1.0.0 does not request access to your microphone, camera, photos, precise location (GPS), contacts, calendar, or health data.

6. Age and Audience

Dancing Robot is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 within the meaning of COPPA. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the third-party ad SDKs are configured for a general audience. The app's Google Play target audience is set to adults, and the Mediavine SDK is not enrolled in the Google Play Families program.

7. Internet Connection

v1.0.0 requires an internet connection in order to load ads. The dance animations, music, and Live Mode motion physics work offline — the network is only used by the ad SDKs.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Because v1.0.0 doesn't run any servers of its own, there's no data on our side to access, correct, or delete. The data flowing through the ad SDKs is governed by the third parties' privacy policies, linked in section 9.

Your concrete choices are:

• Decline or change consent in the consent prompt where it is shown
• Reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of Ads Personalization in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads
• Delete the app to remove the locally cached ad configuration and consent choices and stop any further ad requests

9. Third-Party Privacy Policies

The following partners receive data from the v1.0.0 build. Each governs the data it receives under its own privacy policy:

10. Google Play Data

If you download Dancing Robot from the Google Play Store, Google may collect certain information about your download and usage under its own privacy policy. That data goes to Google, not to us.

11. Changes to This Policy

This URL is pinned to Android v1.0.0 of the app. If we change the SDK mix, the data collected, or the tracking domains, we will ship those changes as a new app version with its own dedicated privacy policy URL (for example /letsdancerobot/android/v1.1.0/privacy) and update the Google Play listing's Privacy Policy URL to match. The disclosures on this page will not be retroactively rewritten.
